Beneath the Waves

Description

A pop up book handmade and laser cut featuring some of the marine creatures found in Spencer Gulf. This is hand printed and assembled with the most difficult of the components cut on the laser cutter. The grasses and seaweeds are  too fine to cut by hand. I used glassine paper to support the fine weeds and also to create the look of viewing through water. The marine animals are secretive and prefer to hide from view. These books are very hard to photograph by hand!!
